Longlands
Longlands is a charity offering alternative education and mental health support on a working farm for young people aged 12 – 19. It is based at Longlands Farm, on the western side of the village. Students, particularly those for whom a school setting is not working, come for 1 – 3 days per week.
Volunteers have an important role assisting the staff in working with the students, as well as helping with the running of the charity. To find out more speak to Julia Evans, founder and CEO, on 01886 821728.
