We are arranging a family fun day at the pub on 22nd July 1pm to 5pm.
We will have lots to do for all the family… games, tombola, raffle, BBQ and more!
We are looking for some donations for the tombola and raffle prizes please. If anyone could donate anything we would be really grateful! A percentage of the profits will be donated to charity.
We will be having a cake stall, so cake donations will be welcomed, cakes can be dropped off on the morning of Saturday 22nd July if you would like to donate a cake. 🎂
Also, if anyone would like to volunteer to help for any period of time on one of the stalls. Please let me know 🙂

Free outdoor theatre at Whitbourne Village Hall 5pm Friday 2nd June
There’s some free outdoor theatre for Whitbourne theatre fans on Friday 2nd June when Rain or Shine Theatre Company (directed by local resident Jonathan Legg) will be holding the dress rehearsal for their UK summer tour of Shakespeare’s The Comedy of Errors on the green at the village hall and would love an audience to practice on.
The ‘Gates’ (so to speak) will open at 4.30 with the show starting at 5pm. Please remember to bring a folding chair and, of course, a waterproof if the forecast demands it! – and do bring a picnic if you’d like to! (but please remember to take away your rubbish at the end!)

24th May – MEETING CANCELLED
Sadly, we have found it very difficult to engage a speaker or nursery that is prepared to open for Wednesday 24th May (tomorrow). We have tried very hard for some time but to no avail. It may well have something to do with the fact that Chelsea Flower Show is on!
We have therefore made the decision to cancel the meeting tomorrow evening 24th May. Our apologies for any inconvenience caused.
